about debbidoo
debbidoo is owned and managed by Debs Williams, an experienced marketer and member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. The company is based just outside Caernarfon in North Wales.
Debs started debbidoo in April 2008, with a vision of being an off-site marketing manager performing all the same tasks that, in her experience as a marketing manager in the IT industry, marketing managers often get themselves roped into. These services included things like office management and administrative services.
It turned out that for most clients, these services don't tend to go hand-in-hand with marketing; but lots of internet marketing services (like managed social media marketing, article marketing and online brand championing) do, and accordingly debbidoo's services have changed somewhat over the past couple of years. So it's been goodbye to office management (I never loved you anyway), and hello to website design (come to Mummy!)
We've been lucky enough to work with some truly fantastic clients, some of whom have been with us from the word go and are still kind enough to give us plenty of regular work. And we're doubly lucky that so many of our clients have been kind enough to provide a few kind words about Debs, and about debbidoo's services, for publication on this website (you'll see them dotted around the site, usually in the grey boxes to the right of the page).
I/we/you/me
debbidoo is a one-man (well, one-woman) band. But as a Gemini, Debs can't help referring to debbidoo as "we" instead of "me". In fact, we even had a little debate about it with visitors to our blog. The poll results said "go with we", so that's what we've done. Sorry if that's confusing.
LinkedIn recommendations
The following are quotes from recommendations on Debs' LinkedIn profile:
"Debbie's professionalism and down to earth nature makes her a pleasure to work with as both a professional and as a friend in business."
"Debbie's knowledge and attention to details is second to none."
"I can thoroughly recommend Debbie as a marketing professional."
"...in today's world of slip shod attitudes, it is a releief to know that there are people like [Debs] around who believe in doing a job well or better than well."
