Our basic website design packages are designed to cover the most important features and benefits that you'll need for your new website, without going into scary cost territory. But of course, every client's needs are different, so you may want to tweak the features we're offering as standard.

For example, you may not have time to write your own website copy; if that's the case, we're happy to do this for you at a discounted rate when you order website copywriting services at the same time as you order your website design packages. Or perhaps you want to showcase some of your photos or designs, in which case you might want us to include an image slideshow or gallery on your portfolio page.

Our website design optional extras also include things like building extra pages for your website if you need more than the standard five pages included in our website design packages, and creating a contact form for your 'contact us' page. Or perhaps you haven't got enough images for your website and you'd like us to source some for you, and edit them so they're the right size for your page.

extra pages

If you need more than five pages on your website, we’ll create extra pages for you at just £20 per page. What’s more, we’ll honour this discounted price for as long as you remain a debbidoo client, so if you decide you want additional pages at a later date, you can still benefit from this fantastic low rate.

website copywriting

If you'd like us to write your website copy for you, we’ll do this at a rate of £30 per hour – a saving of £5 per hour compared to our usual copywriting fee of £35 per hour.

sourcing and editing images

If you don’t currently have any images that we can use on your website and you’d like us to find some for you, we’ll do this for £10 per image. This price includes editing the images for you as necessary.

forms

If you need a web form that collects information and sends it to you in an email (for example, a 'contact us' or 'request a quote' form), we’ll create, test and implement this for you, to your specifications, for just £20 per form. This price includes creating a 'thank you' page for visitors to land on once they've sent the form.

Google AdSense/AdSense for Search

If you’d like to monetise your website by displaying Google ads, or if you want to include a Google Search box on your site, we’ll set up the account for you, create the appropriate ad units and/or search box and search results page, and integrate these into your website for a one-off fee of £40.

privacy/terms and conditions pages

If you need a privacy statement or terms and conditions for use of your website, we’ll download the appropriate templates from Website Law, personalise them for you, and add them to your website. This costs £20 per page (so if you want both privacy and T&Cs, this will cost a total of £40).

You should note that Website Law's templates are free to download, but only if you include a link back to Website Law in the finished page on your site. If you prefer not to include this link, we will need to buy the link-free templates for you, which cost an additional £20 each (approximately - prices correct at time of writing). This will of course affect the price quoted above.

blog

We can set up a wordpress.com-hosted blog for you (including creating a custom header image), and link to it from your website. Order this at the same time as you order the website and we’ll charge just £75 (usual price: £95).

self-serve email newsletters

Order a self-serve email newsletters account at the same time as you order your website, and we’ll integrate the subscription form into your website for free, create and integrate your subscribe/confirmation/unsubscribe pages for free, plus give you a discount of 25% against the account setup fee (excludes template costs). Please note that the broadcast charges of £5 per campaign plus 1p per recipient, per campaign, will still stand.

fully managed email newsletters

Order a fully managed email newsletters account at the same time as you order your website, and we’ll integrate the subscription form into your website for free, create and integrate your subscribe/confirmation/unsubscribe pages for free, plus give you 25% off the setup fee (excluding template fees), plus give you 25% off the management fee forever! Please note that the broadcast charge of 1p per recipient, per campaign, will still stand.

image slideshows

If you'd like a slideshow on your website - perhaps to add extra interest to your home page or as a portfolio of your design work - we'll create one for you using Monoslideshow, a customisable Flash slideshow player powered by XML and Javascript. Using your images (or we can source these for you at £10 per image - see the 'image sourcing' section above) we'll create, customise, install and test your slideshow player, for a one-off fee of £195.

super-duper extra extras package

Order a minimum of five of the above optional extras, and we’ll give you a further 10% discount against the combined cost of your optional extras.

To clarify, any number of additional pages counts as one “extra”, any number of images counts as one “extra”, any number of forms counts as one “extra”, and either one or both terms/privacy pages counts as one “extra”.

This form collects all the information we'll need from you in order to start building your website, and includes a list of the available optional extras; just tick the relevant boxes, and we'll do the rest.
